Amy Lucero Obituary

Amy Lynn Lucero, 28, was called home by the Lord on February 22, 2015 with her family by her side. Amy graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2004 and then attended AIMS Community College receiving her Associate Degree for Liberal Arts in 2006. In 2007 she followed her true passion and studied massage therapy at the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, CO becoming certified in 2008 . Amy was employed by Walgreens as Head Photo Technician for many years. Her interests included spending time with family and friends, especially her boyfriend of five years Tom Dreiling. Her passions also included singing, photography, painting, and her unwavering faith in our Lord. Amy is survived by her parents, Rudy and Jan Lucero, brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Nikki Lucero, sister and brother-in-law, Aiesha and Artie Maes and their children. Isaiah, Christian and Trinity. Her Paternal Grandmother, Kathy Lucero and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who adored her warm spirit and caring nature. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandmother, Joyce Diesing Luckeroth, Paternal Grandfather, Arthur Victor Lucero and her uncle Gene A. Lucero all of whom Amy cherished deeply. Amy will be remembered by her beautiful smile, warm hugs and cheery disposition. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnstown with Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at the church, 1000 Country Acres Drive, Johnstown, CO 80534. Interment will take place at Johnstown Cemetery following Mass. Donations may be made to The Religious Education Department of St. John's Catholic Church. I just went over to Walgreens and heard of Amy passing it very Sad she was a very sweet women who gave me hope for the past month and a half while I was sick I didn't know here very well but her smile and kindness I will always remember she made walking to the store enjoying always with a positive attitude and impact on others I'm sorry for her families loss and my condenses go to you all
