Jeffrey William Armstrong

Jeffrey (Jeff) William Armstrong of Longmont, Colorado departed this life peacefully April 16, 2023 at the age of 66. He was born November 25, 1956 to Eleanor and Howard Armstrong in Newport Beach California. Jeff grew up in Orange County California and was the oldest of 3 children. He met and married Jeanne Anthony and together they had 2 daughters. They were later divorced. Jeff married Susan Peterson in 2015. After her passing Jeff moved to Ft Collins Colorado in the fall of 2017. He met and subsequently married Mary Romano in 2019. He had a long and successful career in larger scale commercial Audio/Visual project management in both California and Colorado. Jeff had a strong devotion to his family and his family history in the Poudre Canyon, west of Ft Collins. He loved spending time at the family homestead. Jeff was an excellent cook, loved to garden, enjoyed golf, bike riding, hiking, fishing and camping. He was born with the Pacific Ocean in his blood and was an enthusiast of all the beach had to offer especially sailing. Jeff also had a lifelong love of music and often played his many guitars with a special talent. He had a deep knowledge and appreciation of the history and evolution of trains and the American railroad. He very much loved his constant companion/dog, Juno. He will be remembered lovingly by his wife and family. And with great fondness by his friends and neighbors. He left all with an appreciation of the many gifts he embodied. Jeff is survived by his mother Eleanor, wife Mary, daughters, Chloe Curtis (Kris,) & Holly Abeyta (Aaron), 3 grandchildren (Greyson, Hunter & Silas) as well as brother Steve Armstrong and sister Susan DeSantis. A celebration of life is planned for late summer 2023 at the family ranch.
