Joel Moreland Obituary

Joel Moreland, 63 of Platteville, CO., died unexpectedly Dec. 17, 2023. He is survived by his wife Debra of Platteville, her daughter Tracy, son in-law Matthew, grandson Lane Ray all of Kersey, and granddaughter Charity Ray of Eaton, brother Dann of Erie, sister LeeAnn (Kevin) Murphy of Oregon, sister in-law Nancy Moreland of Erie, granddaughter Alyah Moreland of Juneau, 2-nieces and a nephew. Joel loved to travel to Vegas and Nuevo Vallarta,camping/fishing and he loved is grandkids dearly! He took great pride in his home and his yard! Joel and Debra owned and operated Foothills Carpet Care for 33 years! He has left a hole in all our hearts, and we will miss him deeply!

Joel will be sorely missed by his family. Good memories of family get togethers at his parents“ home & later at his Platteville home. Other memories of first meeting him when he was about 12. Love especially to Deb & brother Dann.
