Norman Steiner Obituary

Norman Leon Steiner passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 82 in Goodyear, Arizona, surrounded by his family. Norm was born in Longmont, Colorado, on November 19, 1939, to Paul and Grace Steiner. He graduated from Longmont High School in 1957. Norm worked as a draftsman early in his career. Later he began doing project cost estimation for large construction companies. For several years, he had his own business building high-end custom homes in California before returning to project estimation until he retired. He lived most of his adult life in California, where he loved living the most. After retiring, he moved to Goodyear, Arizona. Norm was a very talented man with a big heart and a gentle soul. He could build and fix almost anything. He had a fine attention to detail and was a perfectionist at anything he did. In his free time, he enjoyed reading his daily scriptures, surfing the Internet, and sketching plans for the next project he was planning to build. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; his daughters, Randi Swinder (Rob), and Traci Foster (nee Steiner); and his sister, Roberta Rodgers. A service will be held at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery columbarium on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 2:15 PM.

I was so sad to hear about Norm's passing. I have so many fond memories of him. I will never forget staying with Norm and Shirley when we visited San Diego. They always made sure we had the best time while we were there. I'm also thankful that I was often invited to share Saturday lunches with Traci and her dad. (Furr's Cafeteria and Estes Park)
There are too many great memories to mention. My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.
Love,
Karla
