John McRedmond Obituary
He was born Nov. 11, 1959, in Nashville, Tenn., to the late John Joseph McRedmond III, and Patricia Mary O'Connor McRedmond.
He was employed by Shaw Industries and was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church of Ellijay. He was a loving father and loved jokes of the day.
He is preceded in death by beloved wife, Lillian Kathleen McRedmond.
He is survived by son, John J. McRedmond V, of Jasper; daughters, Katelyn McRedmond, of Ellijay and Ashley Parsley, of Nashville, Tenn.; mother, Patricia McRedmond, of Nashville, Tenn.; brother, Michael McRedmond, of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Mary McRedmond, Kelly McRedmond, Sheila Harrell, all of Nashville, Tenn., and Dorothy Gregory, of Thomaston, Maine; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Eva Waits, of McDonough.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, from Good Samaritan Catholic Church.
Inurnment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
Donations can be made to Good Samaritan Catholic Church, 55 N Church St, Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mr. John McRedmond.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

I was an usher in his first wedding to Janelle. At the time, he was a good buddy and we both laughed a lot. He always seemed like he saw the positive in everyone and everything. RIP Johnny Mac

Jim and Cap graduated together in 1954 from Father Ryan and in Jim’s teaching and coaching career at Ryan he had contacts with many of the McRedmond families
