Mary Ann Burrell

Mary Ann Burrell, 89, of Hendersonville, N.C., passed away Dec. 18, 2025.

A native of Ellijay, she lived in Palm Harbor, Fla., prior to moving to Hendersonville in 2004.

She is the daughter of the late Harve and Julia Bell Weaver, of Ellijay. She is preceded in death by sisters Grace Tyson and Sally Chastain Shell; and grandson, Bryan DeBlois. She is survived by daughters Melissa Burrell and Gloria Burrell; son Daniel Burrell; grandsons, Bradley DeBlois and Brett DeBlois; granddaughters Alicia, Amy, Amber Sagapolu.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to line dance and often performed at assisted living homes in the community. She was active in her church, Covenant Presbyterian Church of Hendersonville and volunteered with Hospice. All who had the privilege of knowing her loved her. She had a beautiful heart and soul and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, N.C. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
