Michael Hyatt Obituary
Michael Robert Hyatt Sr., 80, of Ellijay, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025.
He was born Feb. 3, 1945, in Dunn, N.C., to the late John Marshall Hyatt and Evelyn Godwin Hyatt.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked as a salesman for Sun Sports Cycle and Watercraft. He was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by brother, Jon Hyatt.
He is survived by wife, Debbie Hyatt of the home; son, Mike Hyatt Jr. (Ashlee), of Sedona, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law, Shari Michele Garcia (Richard), of Ft. Myers, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Dean Hyatt (Polly), of Dunn, N.C.; sister, Marsha Patterson, of Dunn, N.C.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at 1 p.m. from Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay. Lunch will follow in the social hall.
Bernhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
