Paul Bramlett Obituary

Mr. Paul Jerry Bramlett was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Ellijay to the late Paul Nathaniel Bramlett and Ruth Esther Lockaby Bramlett.

He died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023. He is preceded in death by siblings, Bobby Bramlett and Betty Bramlett Higingbotham; grandson, Landon Bramlett; mother and father-in-law, Audley and Nora Mullins; son-in-law, Mark Janas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sarah Miller Bramlett Wheeler, Tony Cantrell, Joan and Jim Walraven and Tommy and Barbara Mullins.

He is survived by wife of 46 years, Amy Bramlett; children, Paula Bramlett-Janas, Lewis (Andrea) Bramlett, Justin (Laura) Bramlett, Brad (Emily) Bramlett, and Caleb Bramlett; grandchildren, Jonathan Janas, Lance (Ashley) Bramlett, Kayla Janas, Lucas (Sarah) Bramlett, Mallory Janas, Grace Bramlett, Emma Kate Bramlett, Reece Bramlett and Paul Bramlett.

He was of the Baptist faith and was self-employed for the majority of his life as owner of Bramlett Septic Tank Company.

As a young man, he worked at Lockheed for several years. Many humorous stories come from his time and the other "Ellijay" boys" he commuted and worked with. He was honest and hardworking his entire life. He was a good daddy and Pop. He loved his family tremendously and will be greatly missed.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Norman Gibbs and the Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
