Mom, I miss you. Alot has happened in my life since you've been gone. I wish I could be granted one wish... And that's to talk to you face to face. Your advice and support helped me through difficult times. Your encouragement gave me strength. This all still seem like a bad dream that you are gone. It still hurt like nothing I've ever felt. No happiness can fill my void of you not being here. I struggle with it daily, especially on Mondays...my days offf...that was our day and everyday around 11am, our lunch time talks. I miss you so much. RIP.

Good Morning Mom, I love you and wanted to say Happy Mothers Day to you:) I miss you so much and wish I could see your smile today...I truly hope that you are in a better place and resting in peace...I been working and it feel good to get up and go to work,You know I look at your pictures all the time and every time I look at them you look more beautiful each day,The family was saying they was coming to see you today and leave you some flowers....I cant wait until I can do that,I remember you tellin me thanks ones day for bring you flowers on Cary Street to the house....when I asked you why you thank me...you said because you wanted to smell them while you was here...It seems like everything you said back then make so much since now,I love you and I might say that 100 times but it still cant tell you just what you mean to me,You was my first love...you gave me things no one else would ever be able to give me,Did you know that if you take a new born baby and put him in the middle of a floor with 10 women sitting around and turn the lights off, he will still crawl to his mother:)they share a special bond and sent from birth...I say this to say....you did a very good job in raising your family we are so grateful and appreciative to you for all your time and energy you put into us your love and understanding you gave us and most of all your patience and goodwill, we all say this and I know we all mean it when we say...You are missed so much..I love you,Happy Mothers Day, Neal..Kiss

Good Morning ma, I love you. I just wanted to tell you that I love you and miss you but Im gettin better in dealin with you not being here with us....I look at your pictures all the time to see your smile and it do so much for me,Everyday I wake up I thank God for the time we got to share, Life with you was so nice and loving you did a every good job in raising us we thank you, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and the top of my soul...I try to call and keep up with mark in Atlanta he's doing alot better...I want to share something with you that Im trying to live by and Im doing a good job so fare at it okay....This seems like something you tried to tell me over the years and it just siittin in...sorry it took so long but I got it now,"Inflexibility" Our pride create inflexibility. Because of our pride we are not able to change our minds,but instead we stick on a wrong course of action.We may know our initial decision is wrong, but,because of our pride we are unable or unwilling to back down and take a different course of action.We mistake this stubborness for strength,but actually it is a weakness because we are just unable to take a better course of action...thank you for still teaching me from another life...a 100 kisses

Hello Mother, I love you and miss you so much. I wish you was here with us to enjoy this special day....I hope you and daddy had a good day today...I know some people will look at this and think Im going crazy but if you believe in a life after this one it wont seems so crazy at all:) I prayed for you today and I felt you smile down on me...I try to make every day I wake up a good one and do the right thing because life is short and I must get all out of it that I can, Everything you ever told me play around in my head every day, so I will make you and daddy proud. Dear Moma,your work was well done take that fom your lst son.I apologize profusely for all I put you through,when it came to lovin me you did your best.I know the street's blocked out your light.I coulden see the man T was supposed to be ,but through your love,I will learn to be the man you wanted me to be.You are the epitome of a strong black woman,we are so many things to each other beside's Mother and Son.I love you so deeply,so unapologetically.You demonstrated compassion,empathy,persistence,creativity,selflessness,sympathy,determination and best of all...love.I believe in one God,I hope fpr happiness beyond this life for you.God wove a web of loveliness of clouds,stars and birds,but made not nothin as beautiful as you.You cannot cash checks on heaven's bank without first making the deposit of belief,so you will be very rich once you reach your home of peace.Children have never been very good in listening to their elder'sbut they never fail to imitate them,so if I could be half the parent to your granddaughter(Jayla)that you was to me I would finally be that man you raised me to be.I know you are at peace and resting among angels,no more pain,worries or doctors,you are with our creator.I felt your hugs last night and your kisses this morning,I may need to talk to you from time to time because I could nevetr live with out you completely. Mommy, this is my way of speaking to you now that I'm not able to call and have those wonderful conversations each day with you. My day went well at work. My boss actually complimented me on a job well done. Now you know the story behind that don't you. I never thought I would hear those words from her. Thank you for telling me to hang in there, even when I wanted to quit and walk way. I'm holding on to everything you taught me Mommy. You are and will ever be my greatest inspiration. I only wish that one day I will measure up to become the women that you were. Your life is a testimony to all your children. I ask myself often, could I have raised and trained 11 children the way you and Dad did? Could I be that selfless person to love , protect and deny myself of life's pleasures in order to feed, cloth , and take care of those kids? I will never know. The three I have are what God blessed me with, and that is enough for me. You are a star in heaven. No matter how cold or hot the weather, every night I open my blinds and window, look up at the starry sky, some times cloudy, and say, good night Mommy. I love you.

I have so many great memories from coming over to visit and playing as a child in grandma's front yard to the video she made me just before she passed. She was a beautiful person that loved to smile and laugh and made your day better after just being around her for even a few minutes.

I met Mama Ada when I was twelve years old,that was thirty-nine years ago. When I walked into her house the first thing I saw was that same smile she's always had. The second thing I noticed was every time I went to her house she always wanted to hug me. She never stopped either for as long as I've known her. It was NEVER a strain for Mama Ada to love me or anyone else whose been around her, it just came naturally. She will always be dear to me, and I'm so very glad God allowed me the opportunity to show her love, but mostly to receive her love. To say she was a loving person is really a literal fact, she had a way of freely loving you without reservation, and that's a rare gift. Mama Ada, I will indeed miss you.

My mother was the strongest woman I knew. Mom loved her children each day as if it would be the last. Mom's smile brightened up any room regardless of who was in attendance. My mother taught me how to be a better person. Family was always the most important thing to her. As a girl growing up my mother was my best friend. How many teenagers can say that honestly? Now she's my angel. Family take courage, love hard, forgive easily, and laugh out loud. This is what Mom would want.

We use to live next door to each other & Ada was so very sweet & nice.Ada always had a smile on her face no matter what she was going through. Always would lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. She was like a aunt to me. To her family I am so sorry to hear about your loss, but just know that she is in the hands of the Lord where she will no longer suffer or be in pain. You all have an angel watching over you always. She surely will be missed.

Grandma, I haven't stopped thinking of you since the day you left. I will always keep our memories close to my heart. You played a big role in our lives. You were open hearted, kind, beautiful, spoke of positivity, and most importantly; a woman of God. I will cherish the moments we shared together grandma.
