Agnes McConnell Obituary

Agnes Frances McConnell, 83, of Richmond, died January 30, 2005. She is survived by her sons, James R. McConnell and his wife, Catie, and Joseph Pezzulo of Maine; three grandsons, Austin Burke McConnell, Preston Hill McConnell, and James Foster McConnell; and her dear friend, Mattie Grim. Mrs. McConnell was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Covais. Mrs. McConnell prided herself on her work over the last 17 years as a unit clerk at Westminster-Canterbury, where she leaves behind many beloved friends. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the chapel at Westminster-Canterbury, 1600 Westbrook Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to MCV Child Life program, Children's Medical Center, PO Box 980202, Richmond, Va. 23298.

Agnes will be sorely missed. We were lucky to have her as a member of the family for so many years. I will always remember how much she cherished Jimmy and the boys.
