Allan Brooks Obituary

BROOKS, Allan E., 57, of Chesterfield County, passed away July 11, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland St. John Brooks Jr. and Marion E. Brooks of Petersburg. He is survived by a brother, Richard A. Brooks and his wife, Susan P. Brooks.; nephews, Derek Brooks and his wife, Rachel, and Chris Brooks; and devoted girlfriend, Margaret Lyda. Mr. Brooks was a graduate of Prince George High School, and a graduate and longtime employee of Virginia Commonwealth University. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday. Interment Dale Memorial Park.

I will truely miss his wonderful smile and caring ways. He was just a great guy that I will really miss.
