Amos Johnson

March 4, 2025 - September 11, 1941

Amos Cephas Johnson went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2025 after a years long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.

He was born in Willow Spring, North Carolina to the late Josephus and Edith Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his sister Sarah Nell Weaver and her husband Granville Weaver and his brother Richard Johnson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judy Johnson, his three children, Travis Johnson, Myra Keener (Brian), and Megan Cox (Brian); his two grandchildren, Christopher Keener (Zoe) and Douglas Keener (Caroline); and his great-grandson, Hudson Keener.

The family will receive visitors at Goochland Baptist Church from 10 to 11 a.m., on Friday, March 7, 2025 with the service starting at 11. Internment will immediately follow at Goochland Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Goochland Baptist Church Missions Fund.
