TO THE ARVIN FAMILY,

AMY WAS A VERY NICE PERSON. MY GRANDAUGHTER (DESTANIE) STILL TALKS ABOUT HER. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER WHEN THEY USE TO PICK AT EACH OTHER AT THE SALON.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

It is February 5th and I just found out that Amy is no longer with us. Amy did my hair for over 5 years. We use to meet up at O'Charley's all the time for drinks. I still can't believe she is gone. I will never be able to find anyone to replace her. I will miss you greatly Amy. I still can't believe you are gone. I love you! My deepest sympathy to her family and friends!

Amy will be greatly missed. She has been my beautician for more then 13 years and will never be replaced. From my first hair cut to my style for my wedding, Amy did a wonderful job. Thanks for all of the wonderful haircuts and laughter we shared. Until we meet again, lots of Love.

to Amy's family:

Amy and I went to high school together. She gave my daughter her first haircut and many years later my son his first haircut. I will miss our talks and I"m glad that she found true happiness before she left this world.

I just read the letter informing me of Amy's passing. Amy was my hairdress for many, many years. I saw Amy a week before Christmas and she was so happy and full of herself. I will treasure that memory and will miss her very much. My heart goes out to her Mom and extended family.

I just learned today, Jan. 11, that Amy passed away. She was a talented artist, the best hairdresser I ever had, and she genuinely cared for her patrons. My last visit on Dec. 18, she refused to cut my hair in a "Mullet" because I wanted shorter sides than the back. God love her. She was very happy to be living with her fiance and his three children, and was letting me know what Santa was bringing them . . . we talked about the value of spending time with children, not necessarily the expensive gifts. She recalled fond memories of her childhood during that time and also the fun she had with her mother. Amy will be sorely missed.

To Ms. Arvin and to Dean,
I was so deeply saddened to hear of Amy's passing....we will miss her terribly. I knew Amy for a brief three years as my hairdresser, but she was such an affectionate and caring person, it was easy to develop a friendship with her. I pray that your memories will comfort you. We'll all see her wonderful smile when we join her in heaven. Fly on, Angel!

Amy, I'm so glad you were part of Dean's and my children's life you touched the heart of three beautiful children in ways that you will always be remembered. Tommy said he never really got to tell you that he love's you. Jacob is going to miss the play fighting. Danielle will miss you tucking her in bed. Thank You Amy for having such a big heart. (Becky)

Though I had only known Amy a short time, she touched my heart. It was always a joy to see her smiling face at Transitions when I went to visit my daughter, and she came to call me "Mom" which I treasured. Now, she not only is an "Angel" by name, but one in heaven as well. My heart goes out to her mother having suffered so many losses in her life. I especially want to thank Dean for giving her such happiness during the last several months of her life. Your loss must also be unbearable, but she will be your guardian angel also. Her loss will be felt for years to come.

We will miss Amy very much. She has touched so many of our lives in so many different ways. I can remember the first time she cut our hair outside the Apartment complex, and all the fun we use to have together. She will be deeply missed. Our Prayers go out to her family. Love, Donna, Jon & Roman

I don't think I will ever forget our Amy. She always brought me to laughter and we always had our stories. We will miss her dearly, but I know she is happy, because now she is with Carolyn. And I can't wait to see again one day. She is now truly an Angel.
Love to all her family,

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. Amy was the best hairdresser I have ever had. She always cared about her clients and how they felt. She will be missed so much by me and my friends that knew her.

Hey Ma! How will I ever get through the rest of my life without hearing those words from you? I will always remember the day we met and how I saved you, haha! You made a difference in my life and you were a good friend. I am thankful for the time we shared. O’Charley’s will never be the same but we know our “Angel” will always be there to watch over us. Amy, I will miss you and your beautiful smile, each and every day! I love you. ~Susan Powell
