I will miss Amy walking down Terminal Ave. I was introduced to Amy by my grandmother Lena Patterson. I would give her a ride, when I saw her. She would say; you're Edward Patterson's son. I know you.

TO THE FAMILY:
I WILL MISS AMY BECAUSE I ALWAYS
HAD SOMETHING ON MY PORCH AND ALWAYS HAD MY 4:00AM WAKE UP CALL.
BUT SHE ALWAYS COULD TALK ABOUT FAMILY AND HISTORY OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. MY DAD ASKED HER ONE DAY WHY DON'T SHE WALK AT MCGUIRE.
SHE REPLIED "THAT'S TOO MUCH WALKING FOR ME" HE JUST LAUGHED.
WE WILL MISS OUR AMY.

We will miss the familiar site of her - walking strong and steady - along Jeff Davis, Terminal Ave., etc.
I am one of many who gladly gave her rides. Now, she has her own Chariot.
