Dear Phyllis and family: I am so sorry to hear about Andy. I know this is a tremendous loss for you. I wish I had been in town for his memorial. Andy was such a big part of my ALW days-always there with his dad in a supporting role for the team. May the passage of time bring less pain and more joy from the many fond memories of your moments together.

This is very sad news for me and my wife. I grew up with Andy, but quickly lost touch after Freeman High. The next thing I hear is he owns his own store, time flew by I never caught up with him.I have a daughter 18 years old now that I wish he could have met. My heart goes out to family and friends, Andy was a very special person. I'm sure he will be deeply missed by all. Mark,Debbie & Joanne Schepker

Andrew was a close friend with whom I lost touch about three years ago, after becoming so busy starting a family. I was devastated to learn of his terrible illness and passing. I am so very sad I never got the chance to truly thank him for all the times he was there for me, to listen and to offer advice. What a special, gentle person he was. I could go on and on. I just wish I had expressed this to him before he left us. Thank you, and God rest your kind soul, Andrew.

Phylis,Ben & Joe,

What a sweetheart Andrew was!! He was one of the few calms in my "wedding planning storm". I always enjoyed his quick smile & loving nature. What joy it is knowing that he is now in peace & no longer in pain. God rest his sweet soul.

I will always remember Andrew's smile and that twinkle in his eye. In 1985, I gave him a guinea pig because I thought he needed a pet. The two of them were so funny. The pig would go to the refrigerator and, when you opened it, it would whistle for food. His mother would "pig sit" for him when he travelled. He said it was hard to get her to let him have the pig back! I am sorry he left us so soon. Rest in peace, Andrew.

Andrew will be greatly missed in the Richmond Wedding Community. He brought many moments of happiness to many couples over his wedding cakes. "May everyone remember him when they eat cake"... he would have a laugh over the thought. To his family he has left behind, remember he is not really gone he is forever in your hearts! And you are in our Prayers.

While I did not know Andrew as long as many others, I feel lucky to have known him. His heart was one of the kindest I have ever known. He truly was a lover of animals and captured the hearts of the most timid. From his cats at the bakery that he took such good care of (and Rudy who he took home to Max) to my Harley and Ernie who, while afraid of anyone they met - loved him instantly.

It is saddest for those of us who are left behind.

I am so sorry to hear about Andrew. I used to host "The Wedding Party," and Andrew was on every other week. I enjoyed having him on the show because he was so much fun and always had a smile on his face. He truly brightened my day every time I saw him. Plus his cakes at the Mixing Bowl were delicious! I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with Andrew's family. May you find comfort in that Andrew was greatly loved and respected.
