Andria Shanice Jones, born April 2, 1978, in Cherry Point, North Carolina.

She was the only daughter of Floyd and Angela Blunt, residing in Midlothian, VA. Andria graduated in 1996 from Manchester High School in Midlothian, Virginia. She was a member of the Manchester Steppers and supported any family or friend in any way she could. She attended VCU briefly and tutored Spanish there. Andria was an accomplished author with six books to her credit. She loved poetry, and she loved life and wrote about it often. She had her own publishing company called A.S. Jones Publishing Company. She believed in herself and the masterful works of future authors, this is why she created the company. Andria felt you must strive to succeed, and that she did. In her words, "Failure gives us an opportunity to try again, not an excuse to give up". Andria books include:" Redeemed", "To Love and Back Second Edition", "That Summer", "Getting The Memo", her first two books were "Tremendous", "To Love and Back" 1st Edition. She was known at her job as a go-getter, confidant, friend, sister, mother, she was the epitome of everywoman. She had a sweet disposition and had the ability to make you feel like you were so special. She loved the simplest things in life, noticing things like colors of trees, picking apples, periwinkle colors in the sky and mountains, her favorite things. To know Andria was to love her, and she loved her family. And cooking was a joy, especially seafood and sushi. Andria was adventurous and liked to explore different avenues, she loved to learn. Andria was a member of Fifth Baptist church in Richmond. VA as a tutor and in the daycare as a teacher for a summer. She was a devout Christian and loved the lord. Andria closed her eyes as her sunset April 19, 2025.

Sending our condolences to the family. I met Andria through her aunt when she was looking for a daycare for her children. I pray that the family will find comfort and peace as they think of all the ways she has loved and cared for them.
