Ann Bowry Obituary

BOWRY, Ann B. "Betty", 85, of Richmond, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence E. Bagent; mother, Elizabeth A. Bagent; and husband, Robert E. Bowry. She is survived by daughters, Sharon B. Shannon (Bob) and Tamera A. "Tami" Bowry; grandsons, Robert P. Shannon Jr. (Amy), Richard E. Shannon (Becca) and Tyler Andrew Bowry; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Preston Shannon; brothers, Clarence and William Bagent (Hia); and sister, Diana Wingfield (Chuck). Born in Richmond, Va., Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved reading, gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Betty will be forever missed by her family. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Your Mom, and Grandma was such a rock, solid woman of faith and love. Such fond memories of always seeing her with a huge smile when she was with her grandson Ty at SEES. She loved you and your Mom, Tammy so much.
Prayers for all of you. May she be at peace with all the angels and saints.
