Anne Nuckols Obituary
Anne Ellis Nuckols, age 84, of Manakin-Sabot, passed away on her birthday, August 31, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lawrence B. Nuckols; parents, Bill and Lena Ellis; and sister, Gail, of Short Pump.
She is survived by two daughters, Penny Minor and Sandi Nuckols of Rockville; four grandsons, Larry and Ellis Dunn, Seth Conrad, and Landon Nuckols, all of Rockville; two great-grandchildren, Dixon and Dixie Dunn. Surviving also are a sister, Margie Dawson (Kevin); brother, Leroy Ellis (Kendall); brother-in-law, Glenn Lee Nuckols; and sister-in-law, Iris Nuckols (T. Glenn), all of Rockville; and seven nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Edna, Mildred, and Christine for their years of care and devotion.
Family will receive friends Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, Rockville, VA, on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew's United Methodist Church.
