Anne M. Schwartz

SCHWARTZ, Anne M., 100, of Richmond, Va., passed away on July 12, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Murray Arthur Schwartz; and her sisters, Marilyn Henken and Sylvia Lebenson. Anne is survived by her beloved sons, Lawrence Schwartz (Anne-Marie Irani) and Steven Schwartz (Cathy Schwartz); grandsons, Paul (Kelsey), Marc (Jenny), Jeffrey (Casey), Daniel (Ina); her granddaughter, Natalie; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Sally Kleinman; sister-in-law, Bernice Schwartz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Anne attended Cooper Union College in NYC, and was a talented artist who won numerous awards for her paintings and sculptures, an inspired interior decorator and a real estate agent. She was proud of her family and loved by many friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Bliley's – Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, Va. 23230. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Temple Beth Ahabah, 1121 W. Franklin St., Richmond, Va. 23220, with interment to follow in Hebrew Cemetery.
