Anne was a wonderful friend and hallway neighbor to my mother,
Connie Chaconas, at Our Lady of Hope for several years. I will not
lose the memory of her smile, gentle kindness, genuine interest in others
and talking about our shared PE teaching profession. Her daughter Anne was so special in her enthusiastic visits (and outings for her mother) and
when we chatted in passing, I never felt alone in my care giving tasks for
my own mom. When you love someone there is never enough time to love them. What a blessings Anne's life was to all who knew her!
Walt Disney said,
"Goodbye may seem forever, Farewell is like the end,
but in my heart is the memory and there you will always be."
May every little thing, each sweet memory live in your hearts forever.

Anne was such a big help to me when I started my teaching career at Tuckahoe Middle. We all affectionately called her "mother" as she was like a second mother to us. She was a wonderful, caring person and teacher. She will be missed.
