Anne was a wonderful friend and hallway neighbor to my mother,
Connie Chaconas, at Our Lady of Hope for several years. I will not
lose the memory of her smile, gentle kindness, genuine interest in others
and talking about our shared PE teaching profession. Her daughter Anne was so special in her enthusiastic visits (and outings for her mother) and
when we chatted in passing, I never felt alone in my care giving tasks for

Anne was such a big help to me when I started my teaching career at Tuckahoe Middle. We all affectionately called her "mother" as she was like a second mother to us. She was a wonderful, caring person and teacher. She will be missed.

Anne was such a sweet neighbor to my mother Audrey Rowe, at Our Lady of Hope. I always enjoyed talking with her. Love and prayers to the family.

She was a pillar in her community and in the educational community. My thoughts and prayers go to Hilda, Anne and Candace. What lovely memories you must all share!
