Audrey Ligon Obituary

Audrey H. Ligon of Holden Beach, N.C., and Richmond, Va., lost her courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 16, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Ligon; two daughters, Rhonda R. Ligon and Jaye L. Groseclose, both of Richmond; one brother, Gregor L. Hetzel of Mendham, N.J.; three grandchildren, Erin R. Reynolds, Rachael K. Groseclose and T. Neil Groseclose; one great-grandson, Mason B. Baker. Mrs. Ligon was a member of River Road Church Baptist and Holden Beach Chapel. Audrey was a past director of Bon Air Baptist Church Nursery School. She was a graduate of Westhampton College, University of Richmond. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at River Road Chapel. Contributions may be made to Holden Beach Chapel, Holden Beach, N.C., 28462 or to the American Cancer Society.
