Barbara Lucord Heath, 91 of St. Stephens Church, Virginia went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 14, 2026 at her home with her loving husband by her side.
Barbara graduated from Washington Henry High School and was a resident of Hanover County for many years. She was a devoted Christian who was loved by her friends and family; she enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends and family, and was a horse enthusiast for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Walter Woodrow Heath; her children Darlene Butler (Horace), and Warren Heath (Eileen); her granddaughter, Amy Claassen (Cody); her grandson Blair (Erin); and her great-granddaughter, Zoey.
A funeral service will be held 12 Noon on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Jones officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
