Worshipful Vernon Lee Crumpler, Jr., 80, laid down his working tools on February 18, 2026. He is preceded by his loving wife, Alice Raye Crumpler, and survived by his sister; five children; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a huge extended family. Visitation February 28, 2026, at Norman Funeral Home in Goochland, from 4 to 6 p.m.; the casket will close at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service March 1, 2026, Gum Spring United Methodist Church, at 3 p.m. Interment will be March 2, 2026, Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, at 11 a.m.
