Sarah Smith Obituary
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Smith, 89, of Goochland and Louisa County, Va., entered her Heavenly home peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Meredith Smith, Sr. She is survived by five children, Shirley Christian (late Alvin Sr), Ellen Johnson (Rev. Lonnie Sr), Marilyn Daniel (Samuel), Berneda Snead (Alvin) and Harry M. Smith, Jr. (Sheila); eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, Va., where a viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 3 to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at County Line Baptist Church, 4070 County Line Rd., Kents Store, Va.
