Barbara Jones passed away in her sleep on March 27, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia, the city where she was born on November 13, 1986.
Barbara spent her life connecting with others. Known to many as "Barbie," she touched the lives of those around her with her presence and spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held April 12th, from 2 to 6 at 1905 Raintree Drive.
She is survived by her sons, Harvey and Ezra.

I was new to Barbie's school in 7th grade, and she was my desk partner in science class. It's tough being the new kid in school, and Barbie was so kind and warm. We laughed together a lot - in fact, her wonderful laugh is probably what I remember most about her. I wish we had kept in touch as we got older, but we sadly did not. Many years later I met my significant other, and it turned out she had known Barbie, too. They were close in middle and high school, and spent a lot of time together. We discussed reaching out to Barbie more than a few times over the ten years we have been together, but unfortunately we never did. She and I will both mourn Barbie, as well as the time we might have all three enjoyed passing together. Much love to her family - and to Barbie herself, wherever she is.

I worked with Barbie 2021/2022, and our conversations ultimately turned to Harvey and Ezra. She was kind, smart and funny, and had boundless love and enthusiasm for her sons. My heart goes out to her family. My sincere condolences, Brenda
