Barbara Joyner Obituary

Barbara Jean Joyner, 56, of Richmond, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 21, 2006. Barbara was a mother, sister, grandmother and a friend. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Sharon and Felicia Joyner, and Francine Paige; three brothers, Roger Jr. and Charles Joyner and Vince Taylor; two sisters, Marie Kidd and Ernestine Joyner; nine grandchildren, Jamal, Bryan, Jacquan and Ebony Joyner, Darius and Desean Hopson, Willie Mangum, Lloyd Tamar and Johnesha Barbee; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Taylor and Gayle Joyner; son-in-law, Tommy Paige; nephews, Christopher Joyner, Corey Baker and Jordon Taylor; niece, Angela Joyner; a devoted cousin, Frances Davis of Washington, D.C.; best friend, Jackie Ali; a special friend, Dwayne Hayes; a host of aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends, The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 25 at K.L. Jordon Funeral Services, 5008 Nine Mile Road.

To the Joyner family ,I am so so sorry to here of your lost. I found out of Barbra Jean passing on Tuedday the 28th. I would like to say I am sorry i was not there she was like a sister to me.I am rembering the first time Bo brought me to meet you all i felt so welcome to your family.And i know now that it`s a sad thing when you lose contact with each other and something like this happen. Please forgive me . Barbra was a very special person a strong person and i know God has some more work for her in Heaven.Family look to God he will supply the strength You need.
