Bert was predeceased by her parents, George (Howard) Bridgforth and Gertrude. (Trudy) Bridgforth Crockett. Known by all in her community of friends as a kind, loving, and generous person, she was also quick to laugh and make others laugh. In her retirement years, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with her grandsons, and playing games with her new friends in Williamsburg. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Bert's life on Friday, October 11. At 11:00 a.m. at the community room at The Arbors at Towne Park, 101 Roscoe Crossing, Williamsburg, VA.
