Bertha Pate

Bertha Pate, age 87, of Bumpass, Va., died Friday, February 11, 2005. She is survived by two sons, Parker Pate of Bumpass and John Pate and his wife, Rosie of Glen Allen; two daughters, Alice Butler and her husband, Alfred and Doris Hall and her husband, Early, both of Bumpass; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Her remains rest at the Lacy Funeral Home, Rt. 522, Mineral, Va., where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Bethany Christian Church with interment in the Pate Family Cemetery, Bumpass, Va.
