Beryl Cecelia Robinson departed this life on September 3, 2024. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy D. and Maurice I. Robinson; and survived by two brothers, Maurice I. Robinson, Jr. and Linwood Robinson; two nieces, Gayle Trusty and Cristal E. Robinson; three nephews, Justin A. Robinson, Aaron M. Robinson and Nicholas Trusty; dev. comp., Stephen Arnt; dev. sister-in-law, Cecelia A. Robinson; dev. friend, Felicia Sherman.
Per Beryl's wishes, an informal get together will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 4409 Haymarket Ln, N. Chesterfield, VA 23234 from 1 to 3 p.m., where her cremains will rest. Please come by between those hours to celebrate and share your memories of the life of this amazing woman of God. Her clothing creations and art will be on display. The Family.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I met Beryl in the 80's. What a talented and creative soul! We'd go see AAE her favorite reggae band downtown at the 6th Street marketplace. She was beautiful inside and out. RIP dear friend

I just found out about sweet Beryl, on yesterday...I became saddened, and grieved hard for a moment, and I caught myself, for Beryl would not want me to do so...the memories of proudly wearing her eclectic pieces, which always sparked conversations, her jamming with us front, and center at the reggae concerts, her beauty, and refined elegance, and her sweet, and humble spirit...easy, sweet Beryl...Peace and Love

My goodness. I am so very sad to hear this. I will forever miss and love Beryl. She was one of the most kindhearted women I'd ever known. I remember she could make jewelry out of anything. Her voice was melodic and she always made me feel special. Miss Beryl, I know you are in Heaven shining bright. I am so so very blessed to have known you and I will miss you.
