Betsy Sutton Obituary

SUTTON, Betsy E., 83, passed away January 4, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Sutton Jr.; and a sister, Temple Roane. Betsy is survived by her four sons, Robert A. III and his wife, Ann of Plain View, William H. and his wife, Mary of Coatesville, Pa., James C. and his wife, Helen of Raleigh, N.C., and Ralph R. Sutton, also of Plain View. Betsy is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Luemma Tucker and Katherine Sutton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Vincent Funeral Home in West Point, Va. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shackelfords Chapel United Methodist Church, with a burial immediately following in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the West Point VF & RS, P.O. Box X, West Point, Va. 23181.
