Beverly Robertson Jones

Beverly Robertson Jones, 63, passed away Friday, May 2, 2003 at her home. She was born August 7, 1939 in Richmond, Va. to the late Henry Lee and Emma Davis Robertson. Before moving to Rocky Mount in August of 2002, Beverly was a 1957 graduate of John Marshall High School in Richmond and was a retired office manager at Atlantic Orient Tobacco Co. An avid lover of nature and animals, she also enjoyed all aspects of gardening and cooking. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 15 years, Alan "Kim" Jones of the home; two daughters, Tracy L. Platt and Jennie Rebecca Platt, both of Richmond, Va.; and a brother, Floyd Daniel Robertson of Dunnsville, Va. Graveside memorial services will be held Friday, May 9, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond.
