Bruce Perretz Obituary

Bruce D. Perretz

Bruce David Perretz, 69, of Richmond, VA, passed away on November 14, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan; his father, Alex; and his stepfather, Stanley.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Mary; his children, David (Caitlin), Alex (Cory), and Margo (Dave); his grandkids, Happy, Poesy, Sutton and Beckett; his sister, Connie; and his brother, Scott.

Bruce was a pillar of the community, and he loved Richmond. He woke up every day thankful for the family and friends in his life. He professed to all, "Work hard, be kind to everyone, and be generous with your time. It's always going to feel good to give more than you receive."

He dedicated his life's work as an Architect to building community, building the spaces where we loved to gather, and making everyone feel loved.

A private graveside service was held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
