Carl Berkley Coats, age 68, of Spotsylvania, Virginia went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2024 in Richmond, Virginia.
Carl was born on October 10, 1956 in Covington, Virginia to the late Carl Elwood Coats and Betty Jean Wilmer Coats. Carl was a proud veteran, serving over 10 years in the United States Army.
He enjoyed traveling the world, including his favorite place, the Philippines.
He received a Bachelor degree and was an information/intelligence analyst for the United States Government. Carl was an avid musician and enjoyed playing guitar and singing to his family and friends.
He was an extreme history buff and loved talking about things he was passionate about.
Carl enjoyed listening to his record collection, especially The Beatles.
He collected nostalgic radios and enjoyed tinkering with them in his garage.
Carl was loved by his family and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Sharon Baptist Cemetery, Clifton Forge with Mr. Chris Fisher officiating.
Military rites will be conducted at the graveside.
