Carl Randolph Obituary

RANDOLPH Carl Venton Randolph Sr., 58, of Richmond, Va., departed this life December 17, 2006. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Ernestine Morris Randolph Brown; and father, Carl Henry Randolph. He is survived by two sons, Carl Jr. (Trinette) and Kevin; granddaughter, Kennedy; twin brother, Carlton of Harrisburg, Pa.; aunt and uncle, Evangeline and Lawrence Hubbard; nieces, Shaunna N. and Kiersten M.; nephew, Courtney M.C. Randolph; godson, Tauri Anderson; other relatives and friends, among them two devoted best friends, Roosevelt O. Arrington and Rhonda Colona Jackson. He was a graduate of Armstrong High School and Norfolk State University and was enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he received an honorable discharge. He was a recent retiree from Siemens-Westinghouse, where he was employed as a field service technician/ engineer. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th Street, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2006. Interment Quantico National Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2006. A Christian wake and repast are omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Virginia, 7231 Forest Ave., Suite 100, Richmond, Va. 23226 or the Liver Transplant Program, c/o Hunter H. McGuire, VAMC, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, Va. 23279.
