I met Mrs. Hornsby only once or twice, but I could tell she was a woman excuding the kindest of souls. I've known Scott since college, when he and Kelly first began dating. If Scott is in any way the tiniest reflection of the person she was, she must have been an incredibly amazing and kind woman. I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. All of my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Carolyn was a remarkable woman, and I feel blessed to have known her. I am very sad for all who mourn her passing. We had some great conversations many years ago, about our sons, who played Little League and went to Dutrow together, and about her students, as we'd see each other in the halls of Sedgefield or in the grocery store...so many fond memories! May you rest in peace,Carolyn, and may your family be comforted~~Sincerely, Barbara Bridges Churray

Hornsby Family,
I taught with Carolyn @ Sedgefield from the time she arrived in 1990 until I moved to Pa. in 1995. I was the music teacher. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. In fact, I had just been asking about her & was hoping that she was doing OK.
Carolyn & I had many laughs together & she was always so supportive of all my productions. I know how much she loved music & how much she loved to teach.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Lois M. Clark
