Catherine Simulcik Pray

September 14, 1944 - August 6, 2024

"Katie", 79 of Woodford, died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, August 06, 2024, after a long battle with Parkinson's. She was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation for many years and was married there in 1966 to her husband of 57 years, David Scott Pray, Sr. of Chappaqua, NY. The Former Miss Caroline County of 1964 was employed by the CIA, Georgetown University, CSX, and SHS Personnel of Richmond. She was proceeded in death by her brother Fred D. Simulcik Jr.; and sister Stephanie Simulcik Flowers. She is survived by her son, David Scott Pray Jr. (Susy); her daughter Heather Pray Jones (Thomas Jr.); granddaughter Victoria Pray and step-grandson Jose; and many nephews and cousins.

A graveside service and burial will be held Monday, August 19 at 11 a.m. at the Simulcik/Pray/Jones Cemetery on the Jones Farm at 8261 Paige Road, Woodford VA 22580. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation.
