Now and again my memory sparks a Google search, and this was the case with my search of Charlie. I met Charlie in 1972 when I moved to Richmond, VA and took a job in the Doswell area. We became roommates when we rented a house in Gum Tree where Charlie endeavored, in vain, to make a musician of me. I simply didn't have the dexterity.
The memories Charlie founded are of adventures. Whether it was on the road to Key West, or a crazy rafting trip on the North Anna River, all it ever took was a suggestion.
Hey Charlie! Remember that night I got shot? Well, about 25 years ago I sustained a shoulder injury and the X-rays found that bullet.
Love ya man, and happy to hear you also had a wonderful life.

I met Charlie in the 5th grade at Henry Clay in Ashland. He was always friendly and kind. RIP

Traveling the road with Charlie was unbelievable. Throughout all seasons of the year, we shared great times. Our band, in Oregon, "Jump Off Joe Creek" was nothing but fun. Miss you brother.
