Charles B. Moore, Jr., 64, of Colonial Heights, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Charles B. Moore, Sr. and is survived by his fiancé and companion of five years, Karen S. Meador; her daughter, Jessica Meador, fiancé Micah Bickmore and their son, Maddox Bickmore; step-sisters, Dale Moore and Gayle Moore; and his beloved dogs, Charlie B. and Mimi. Charles served 10 years in the US Airforce. One of his favorite things was going to Starbucks with his fiancé' Karen, and their two beloved pups. Charles was a great cook in the kitchen! He has one of the biggest cologne collections you could ever imagine! He touched those around him with his witty humor and his love for the Lord. He was dearly loved and is surely missed by his family.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Interment will follow at 2 p.m., in Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.

Our friendship has spanned many years. I have known you since we were kids. Your dad working at Cavalier. Your mom and how wonderfuland kind as she was. So loving and always giving a hug. Many years P passed and we reconnected our friendship.
Hard to believe just 4 weeks ago we all had dinner, talking of spending more time together. I was so happy you found the love of your life. Now you are her guiding angel.
I know your momma greeted you with open arms. Your daddy so proud of all you accomplished. Your precious Peanut back in your arms.
Rest easy sweet Charles your time on earth is done. What a celebration there must be in heaven with all your loved ones.
We love you and we miss you. Until we all meet again one day.
Rest in peace! Love you!
