Charlie Glover "Chuck" Banton Jr.

BANTON, Charlie "Chuck" Glover Jr., 65, of King William, Virginia, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Glover Banton Sr.; loving wife, Patricia "Patti" Banton; and father-in-law, Joe Neagle. Chuck is survived by his mother, Evelyn L. Banton; daughter, Candace N. Banton (Ashley); mother-in-law, Madeline Neagle; special caretaker, Julie Sanderson; best friends, Ellis Rosenthal and David Sanderson, who were like brothers to him since childhood; along with man's best friend, Chewie. In his younger days, Chuck could be found water skiing and riding his motorcycle with Ellis and David. As he got older, he developed a green thumb and loved spending time working in his yard and garden. He was a dedicated employee to CBRE/Colliers for over 22 years. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where a Celebration of Life will be held 12:30 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2023. Interment to follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hunton Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society. As Chuck would say, "Get 'er done."
