Mary Call Anderson, 87, of Richmond, VA, passed peacefully away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. She was born in Virginia in 1938 to the late Frank Randolph Call and Louise Nickols Call. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Stevens Anderson, Sr.; son, Walter Stevens Anderson, Jr.; and sisters, Donna Call and Rebecca Reese.

Mary is survived by her daughter Laura Anderson Phillips and her husband Keith Phillips; grandson, Christopher Phillips and his wife Brittany Parker Phillips; grandchildren, Grant and Parker; sisters, Charlotte Graham and Eleanor Call; close family friend, Gary Williams; and extended family members.

Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother whose warmth and friendship touched everyone around her. She found great joy in traveling, especially in the peaceful moments spent walking along the beaches of the Outer Banks. A creative spirit, Mary was an avid knitter and talented craftsperson, always sharing her handmade treasures with those she loved. She also took pride in her work as a top-level Avon Sales Representative, building lasting relationships through her dedication and enthusiasm. Mary will be remembered for her loving heart, her creativity, and the joy she brought into the lives of others.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd, N., Chesterfield, VA 23234. A graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831.
