Charlotte Weekly Fulwider Pauley, 91, of Ashland, Va., and formerly of Mt. Solon, Va, went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Dora Weekly; her first husband William "Billy" Fulwider, Sr.; her siblings: Bill Weekley, Dick Weekley, Betty Lambert, Mary Wright, Nancy Griffin and Mabel Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, William "Bill" Pauley; sons, William "Bill" Fulwider, Jr. (Robyn), Mark Pauley (Ella), Chuck Pauley (April); daughters, Rhonda F. Andrews (Steve), Norma Ellyson (Danny); sister, Janie Bright (Bob) and brother-n-law, Edward Griffin. Grandchildren: Amber Nadeau (Shawn), Holly McCray, Christopher Fulwider (Jillian), Matthew McCray (Elizabeth), Stephanie Holmes, Pam Knight (Rick), Amanda Ellyson, Kristen Ellyson, Shannon Ellyson, Melissa Ellyson, Megan Pauley, Karmyn Pauley, Alivia Pauley; and twelve great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. Longtime and close friends: Jeff and Dona Davis and family.

Affectionately known as Tootie, Trudy or Ms. Billy, she founded, owned and operated Billy's One Stop, Antique Village and Billy's Little Dodge City, all within Hanover County. She loved meeting and talking with the many people she met over the last 60-plus years while in business.

She was a faithful member of Restoration Church and frequently attended Ashland Church of God.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Mary Morton Parson Health Center, 3rd Floor, North at Westminster Canterbury for their exceptional care and the genuine love they extended to her and her family.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday October 16th at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Road, where funeral services will take place in the Chapel on Friday, October 17th at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Restoration Church, 9161 Atlee Road, Suite C, Mechanicsville, Va. 23116.
