I will remember your face your smile and it will seem alright.

I will keep them all close to my heart, to make the darkness light

The thought that you won’t be around, is going to be so hard you see

Especially for the ones who knew how special you could be

When we were young, life was so simple then, we played we laughed

We were the best of friends.

We got older and went our separate ways, never letting go of our younger playful days

When we got together after all those years, I was filled with anticipation and a lot of fears

What if we didn’t remember how much our friendship meant, then I seen you and I knew

That time didn’t take its toll; you were still the same girl I knew so very long along

So I’ll hold onto the memories of you and me and fun,

One day soon I will see you and we can reminisce, till this day

I will hold onto the memories in my heart, of my friend Cheryl who now plays the golden harp ,,,,,,, Love and miss you Gloria Snellings
