I just want to say to everybody that views this guestbook that I could not have made it without all of the love & support that I have received from friends and family. As his Mother, I always thought that Chris was a special person...and it lifts my heart to know that others feel the same way. Thank you each & everyone for all of the love, support & prayers that carried Chris and his family through this journey. It seems like just yesterday that I gave birth to my son and he will always be a part of my spirit until we meet again.
Love you all & Be Blessed,
Dee ( better known as Chris' Mom)

How quickly this year has passed...It seems like time stood still the moment you took your last breath. I guess I've been frozen in time because everything after that moment has left something very empty inside me. Ceej, you weren't only my nephew, but a best friend. I'll always cherish every precious moment, laugh, conversation, and belgian waffle that we shared. You are missed more than words can express. I Love You...Reen

To Chris'Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Chris'passing. I was fortunate enough to have worked with Chris at Hawthorne Imports and he made a lasting impression on me. The thing that impressed me most about him was his determination and dedication to everything he did. This world has indeed lost a wonderful fellow, and I will miss him greatly. God speed Chris, and god bless your family..
Love to all,

I extend my deepest thoughts and prayers to Chris' family ~ I remember his warm and friendly personality, those beautiful brown eyes and engaging smile ~ We often joked about the "K-Swiss and turtlenecks" and I will search for my photo of him posing in the halls of John Marshall ~ He was truly an angel on earth, and has now gone on to serve as a guardian for those who adored him.

Mrs. Toller,
It is my sincere hope that you find solace in the kind words from so many about Chris. I too love Chris dearly. His is such a soul that will continue to warm hearts. From the day I met you both at a gathering for Richmond area students entering JMU in 1988, it was obvious to me how special Chris was, as well as the family from which he came. You and your late husband raised an EXCEPTIONAL human being.

Dear Dee and family,
Chris was one of my closest friends. I miss him so much but know that he is with God now. I know that he is smiling down on all of us and that he will be with each and every one of us forever in our hearts and memories. I have such good memories of him and they will never fade. Chris was a wonderful person and I feel so lucky to have known him and to have gotten to know you too, Dee. It's obvious why he is so loved - he comes from a loving family. Angels are sent into our life to care for and protect us with their love and friendship. Chris was a "special" angel sent into my heart and many hearts. His pleasant smile, easy-going demeanor and genuine concern for my well-being will always be remembered. We shared many fun times hanging out together at JMU and Dave's house during the summer months. Although his time was short here on earth with us, his spirit and strength will last an eternity. He is free from pain and at home in heavenly peace!
To Chris' MOM: May you find comfort in prayer and the many words of sympathy extended to you and the family throughout this difficult time.

To the Minney Family:
I am truly sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine the feeling of loosing a son so early in life. I was a teammate with Chris on the JM High School Tennis Team and classmate. I remember riding in the light blue Benz, late for practice. He always had a smile on his face and always in a positive manner. He will truly be missed.

My prayers and sympathy to the Minney Family. Chris was a very special person and always caring and thoughtful to everyone. He was my service representative at Hawthorne VW and he alwys acted with such grace to me. He reminded me of my own son, who is the same age. We shared many talks together and he was so proud of his family. I also brought him treats to enjoy, but most of all he loved my hot peppers that I would grow in the summer! Blessings to all who knew and loved Chris, as his memory is precious to us. God Bless, Patricia Lews

Dee and family: I can remember Chris as a very young man. He always had a quiet demeanor and such a pleasant smile. He was a joy to be around. As Jamie and I talked, he reminded me that he and Chris would hang out together from time to time and ride in Dee's Benz . The closeness of your relationship as mother and son was a beautiful sight to see. Although this great loss has deeply saddened both of us, we find joy in knowing that Chris accepted our Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ into his life. Therefore, we can all find consolation in understanding that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. The suffering, worry and pain will be no more. Thank God! May the peace of Christ be with you and the family during this difficult time.
Love always,
Gina and Jamie
