Christy Wyman Watts, age 74, of Sandston, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, with her devoted family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace W. Wyman Sr.; her mother and best friend Olive W. Wyman; and her dear cousin Betty W. Hall.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother Wally Wyman, sister-in-law Maria Wyman, her niece Jessica Wyman (Colin), her nephew Justin Wyman (Megan), and her great-nephew Harrison Wyman, who were the light of her life. She leaves behind numerous beloved family members and cherished friends, especially Carroll Allen and Quita Joly.

Christy was a selfless and giving woman who found true joy in caring for others. She carried herself with grace and a touch of style that reflected her warm and thoughtful spirit. Christy devoted 37 years of her life to Henrico County Public Schools, serving as an Account Clerk for Library Services, where she was deeply respected and admired.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25th, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26th at 2 p.m., at the same location, followed by interment at Washington Memorial Park.
