Clarence Montgomery Obituary

Clarence Vernon "C.V." Montgomery of Atlanta, Ga. and formerly of South Hill, died April 29, 2004 in Atlanta. Survived by his wife, Amanda D. "Tut" Montgomery of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three daughters, Betty Polon of St. Petersburg, Janan Cohen of Atlanta and Mary Pitts Turner of White House Station, N.J.; a son, Robert S. Montgomery II of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Ann M. Fitch of Vero Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home, South Hill. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Betty Tut, I am sorry to hear of your Dad's death. He was one great person. You will never know how many times he helped us out with advice and caring. Our daugher is now a pharmaist in Franklin, Va.
