Craig was special. A kindhearted man, sincere and had a really good sense of humor.

Craig and I were friends since he was a Seminary Intern at 3rd Presbyterian Church in Richmond. Through nearly 40 years, we journeyed through the rough and the good. Heaven has just received one of the funniest people I know and certainly the best honky tonk piano player ever. I miss you Craig.

Craig was an exceptional man - big heart, big sense of humor, and fun to
be around. He was kind and nonjudgmental. He had many friends and will be missed, but he is in a better place now and deserves that.

You were a fun loving pastor and made our wedding special as small as it was. So glad for your many gifts of preaching, playing the piano and singing. Receive your reward. Thank you.

You were the sunshine of my days over the past year. You made me laugh when I wanted to cry. You reminded me that God would always be there for me. Your sermons inspired me. BUT most of all your friendship meant the world to me. It is strange how many years have passed since we graduated only to reconnect some 48 years later and picked up our friendship. I will never forget you my friend. Fly high with the angels until we meet again.

Craig was a seminary classmate of mine at Union Theological Seminary (now Union Presbyterian Seminary) in Richmond (also, a campus now, in Charlotte). He was a beloved member of the Class of '84. I will never forget some of the great, theological, and biblical 'cartoons,' with humorous captions, that Craig would produce during our seminary classes! He had a rich sense of humor, which I greatly enjoyed!

Though I did not know you well I always heard the most loving thoughts about you from your friends and parishioners. Your sudden passing left an emptiness in their hearts. Enjoy your glory, we´ll earned.
