Our Dear Mayma, We never wanted you to leave us. You were such an inspiration to Clark , our children ,Kevin , Jeff, and Angie, my sisters, and brother and me.
I could have searched the world over and never found a Mother-in-law as wonderful as you. Thank you for always being there for us. You tought me to cook , garden, fish play Rook , Setback and so many other things that will stay in my memory forever. When Clark and I got married you told me you were going to fatten up my little skinny neck..Well, You sure did a good job with your wonderful cooking.. You will always be in our memory fondly with so much Love.
We will miss you Mayma..

It is impossible to sum up 42 years of memories in a paragraph, however these are mine. The Sunday nights watching Disney and Wild Kingdom on Stonewall Ave. The wonderful never ending dinners. The many weekends fishing and playing cards in Bavon. Lastly, making Christmas Eve a special time of the year for all her grand children.
Mayma also left me with a strong sense of family and family history that I am passing on to her great grand children. I also want to thank Mayma for her time, her patience, her love and of course my Dad.
Love and miss you always,
Joan Ford

Mayma was a wonderful grandmother and a remarkable woman. She always showed me so much love and I will always hold that dear to me. I have very fond memories of spending weekends at the house in Bavon. I remember all of her beautiful flowers that she took such pride in and all of the beautiful birds she kept fed. She always loved her birds. She knew what every one of them was. She was so special to me and my family and we will miss her tremendously. She is in a better place now though. Somewhere she will feel no pain, always find love and never lose a single memory. What a wonderful thought that she is up there looking over us. I love you Mayma and will always be your "Little One".
Sincerely,
Angie

Peace and love to all of you in the death of Crystal. Many fond memories of spending time down at Bavon are with me.We had great fun, and she was a special lady, and she is probably the last one of Nannie's family to remember, maybe a few left in Martinsville, i.e., Joe Lene, Elmo, but that is about all. Love to all, Shirley

I only met Crystal once, but I thought she was a lovely lady and I enjoyed the opportunity to visit with her. I know her family will miss her dearly.
