The many weekends fishing and playing cards in Bavon. Lastly, making Christmas Eve a special time of the year for all her grand children.

Mayma was a wonderful grandmother and a remarkable woman. She always showed me so much love and I will always hold that dear to me. I have very fond memories of spending weekends at the house in Bavon. I remember all of her beautiful flowers that she took such pride in and all of the beautiful birds she kept fed. She always loved her birds. She knew what every one of them was. She was so special to me and my family and we will miss her tremendously. She is in a better place now though....

Peace and love to all of you in the death of Crystal. Many fond memories of spending time down at Bavon are with me.We had great fun, and she was a special lady, and she is probably the last one of Nannie's family to remember, maybe a few left in Martinsville, i.e., Joe Lene, Elmo, but that is about all. Love to all, Shirley

I only met Crystal once, but I thought she was a lovely lady and I enjoyed the opportunity to visit with her. I know her family will miss her dearly.
