David Kenneth Ault

AULT, David Kenneth, 81, of Manakin-Sabot, VA, went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Thelma Ault; and grandchildren, Kyle and Cody Burnett. He is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years, Diane Ault; children, Amy Burnett (Scott), Chris Ault (Elyse), Adam Ault (Aysha); grandchildren, Sean, Aubrey Ella, Cooper, and Emily; sisters, Karen McNulty, Christine Russo, and Janet Ault; many nieces and nephews, as well as his canine companion Lucy, all of whom will miss him greatly in their lives. Dave, known as 'Barn' by friends and family, was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and after graduating from Duquesne University, joined the United States Navy. He had already met the love of his life, Diane, and the two of them began a life together, which took them to all corners of the United States for his career working for Goodyear Chemical. Dave was an amazing athlete, and passed that love of competition and good sportsmanship on to his children. He would never miss a game, and had acted as coach throughout their childhood. He was a genuine and caring man, as well as one of deep faith, and loved his family and the Lord with all of his heart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m., Saturday, February 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Road, in Henrico, VA 23229. For condolences, see www.blileys.com.
